Meet The Team
Experience and Skill with a Gentle Touch
Christine is a Registered Dental Hygienist with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She is delighted to be a member of Dr. Kalfas’ terrific dental team. She received her dental hygiene degree at Pierce College, in Tacoma, WA and was a professor of clinical dental hygiene at the same institution. Christine is a leading practitioner in periodontal therapy and is certified in diode laser technology. While the technical aspects fascinate her, the meaningful relationships she develops with her patients are the most rewarding part of her work.
Working with Dr. Kalfas renewed Christine’s commitment to presenting and discussing the connection between oral health and whole body health with patients. She is please to work with Dr. Kalfas as they share a very similar vision in taking care of patients in a holistic and mindful way.
In addition to dental hygiene, Christine is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Life Coach, working with health and wellness, and a Certified Laughter Leader.
Her volunteer efforts include delivering dental hygiene services in remote villages in the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal, coordinating volunteers for Children’s Dental Health services and facilitating workshops for Peace Theological Seminary.
An avid outdoors person and adventurer, Christine has summited Mt. Rainier on a technical climb, hiked the Annapurna trail in Nepal, earned her private pilot’s license, and trekked the Inca Trail into Macchu Picchu.

Kaydene is usually the first voice you will hear on the phone or the face you will see when entering our office. Kaydene has been in the dental field since 1996, she has skills at both assisting the Doctor and the front office. Although she enjoys assisting and seeing the transformations that can take place in patients mouths & overall health, she feels the front desk is where her heart is. She has great dental knowledge and has good communication skills.
When Kaydene is not in the dental office, she thrives on volunteering and being with her family & friends. Along with having a husband, 4 kids, & a dog, she is also very active in her kid’s schools, her church, and organized sports. You most likely will find her in the bleachers of a sporting event, running an event, socializing with friends or hanging out with the youth group. She is passionate about life and hopes to share that with the patients she comes in contact with.
